Q: How quickly does my order ship?
A: Most jewelry ships in 2-4 business days, pieces with custom cut stones may take up to two weeks to finish. More complex pieces will have the timeline listed. If you need something rushed or arrived by a guarantee date send a message through the link in the contact page or email sarah (at) sarahsafavijewelry.com to check that it's possible. It usually is.
Q: How long will it take for my order to arrive?
A: Orders within the US take 2-5 days to arrive with standard shipping. You can select Express at checkout which will arrive within 1-2 days. If you need an order by a specific date send an email to sarah (at) sarahsafavijewelry.com to ensure it will arrive by your needed time.
International Orders are mailed out via USPS First Class International. This takes between 2-3 weeks, has tracking but no guaranteed date of arrival. If you'd like something quicker or a more reliable delivery date send an email or select it at check out.
Q: This is a gift, can I get it wrapped?
A: All orders come wrapped in a box ready for giving. If you would like a note inscribed on a card or the receipt left out of the box leave a message at checkout or send an email to sarah (at) sarahsafavijewelry.com.
Q: How do I care for my jewelry?
14K or 18K gold does not tarnish and will keep its color indefinitely. It is still recommended to remove your pieces when showering, swimming or doing any intense work as it is still susceptible to damage and scratches especially stones.
Gold filled chain and wire stays shiny and bright gold though it will degrade over time. Gold filled is made with a layer of gold pressure bonded to another metal. This is much different than gold plating which can wear quickly showing the base metal. It takes years to wear down the gold in gold filled jewelry with proper care.
Sterling Silver can oxidize quickly and develop a dark patina. An inexpensive polishing cloth restores the shine and luster easily. The best way to take care of your Sterling is to wear it, it will stay polished when on your skin.
Bronze and brass are solid metals that can tarnish quickly when exposed to skin, sweat and salt. Some like the patina they develop and some prefer a brighter, golden look. Using an inexpensive polishing cloth is a great way to brighten the metal and protect stones. Overtime your skin and oils will polish the metal and keep the patina it creates.
Avoid wearing all jewelry while showering, swimming or in other extremely humid environments or doing any work that will scratch or damage metal or stones. Storing in a closed container or bag is recommended. A care card and polished cloth are included with all orders of Sterling or Brass or Bronze items.
Q: Do you offer returns?
A: If you are unhappy with your purchase you have the option to return or exchange it within one week of receiving less shipping charges as long as it is in an unworn condition. Custom pieces with stones that are cut to order like those in the Bolo Tie’s or Token Necklaces are non returnable. Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer and must include tracking and secure packaging.
Q: Do you offer repairs?

A: Absolutely. I love to make custom pieces. Starting with something as simple as a shape, color, place, photo I've created unique pieces and am always interested in collaborating on something new.
